KENNEL CLUB INTERNATIONAL TEAM RETRIEVER EVENT - 3RD JUNE 2011

The Great Britain Retriever Team ran for the first time on Friday 3rd June at the Kennel Club International Team event, held at Chatsworth House, by kind permission of the Duchess of Devonshire.

The team comprised: Laura Hill (England), Nigel Carville (N. Ireland), Roddie McBain (Scotland) and Andy Fisher (Wales), captained by Diana Harrison.

Six international teams competed in a variety of tests, some walked up on the moor and some as part of a 'drive' exercise in the meadows and woodland at the stunning Chatsworth ground.

The judges were: Mr M and Mrs L Stringer, Mr D Donnelly and Mrs T Lawrence.

The results were as follows:

1st Place - Germany
2nd Place - Sweden
3rd Place - Great Britain
